2015 planning is underway for the Ohio Agricultural Council, which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame inductions this year. Memberships are now being accepted, and dates have been set for the group's 2015 meetings.

OAC inducted Bernard Heisner of Hilliard, Don Ralph of Morral, John Watkins of Prospect, and the late William Hoewischer of Sidney into the 2014 Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame for their lifetime of service and dedication to Ohio's agriculture community in August.

OAC annually offers scholarships to assist students pursuing a career in agriculture.
Scholarships are available to high school seniors preparing to enter college or any undergraduate student currently enrolled in college.

OAC holds two member meetings per year at various central Ohio venues and features educational guest speakers. OAC events also provide members the opportunity to network with others who share common goals, interests and careers.
The spring meeting will be Wednesday, April 22, and the fall meeting will be Wednesday, Nov. 18.
OAC is a proud supporter of the Ohio Livestock Coalition's youth education program called For Your InFARMation.
Designed to help third grade students better understand where their food comes from, FYI focuses on how Ohio livestock farmers help feed our communities, our state and our world.
