John A. Davis

Throughout his lifetime, John A. Davis worked for the interests of dairy farmers and rural people in general. He was active in many county, state and national organizations which had interests in farm credit, agricultural conservation, dairy service units, artificial breeding, dairy marketing and dairy sales promotion.

Besides operating a 240-acre Butler County dairy farm, he was most active in the Co-operative Pure Milk Association, serving as president for 3 years, vice-president for 7 years, director for 20 years and executive committee member for 8 years. He also served terms as President of the Ohio Division of the American Dairy Association, Director of the National Milk Producers Federation, Vice-President of Central Ohio Breeding Association, Director of Select Sires, Inc., Vice- President of Lebanon Production Credit Association and Vice-President of Union Township Board of Election.
