Warren G. Weiler

Warren G. Weiler, Franklin County, gave 45 years of service to improve and build a better Vocational Agriculture program in Ohio. He taught Vocational Agriculture in High School 1923-1927, served as Assistant State Supervisor for Vocational Agriculture 1937-1950, followed by eighteen years as State Supervisor of Vocational Agriculture Education in Ohio.

He lead in developing an expanded program of vocational agriculture to provide young people a greater variety of training in agriculture.

Mr. Weiler organized the Ohio FFA camp and served as its director for nine years. He also served as executive secretary of the Ohio FFA.

Among the numerous awards he has received include; Honorary American Farmer Degree, Honorary Ohio FFA Degree, Ohio Department of Education Certificate of Appreciation and the Ohio State University Department of Agricultural Education Centennial Award.

Mr. Weiler has been active in many national and state organizations.
