Max Drake

Max Drake, Seneca County, has an active agricultural career of dynamic leadership spanning more than 45 years including 34 years as first manager of the Northern Ohio Breeders Cooperative Association.

He has been instrumental in improving cattle through expanding artificial insemination of both dairy and beef cattle in Ohio, the U.S., Mexico, Central and South America. Indicative of a true leader, Max has served many organizations including presidencies of National Association of Animal Breeders; Ohio Agricultural Council; College of Agriculture, Home Economics, and Natural Resources Alumni; and Heidelberg Parents Association.

He was first chairman of the Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame Committee; and the North American Dairy Cattle Show Governing Committee.

Many organizations have recognized his service by conferring honors upon him, including the FFA, 4-H, Ohio Dairy Science Hall of Service, College of Agriculture and the Ohio State University. Max has been active in many Tiffin and Seneca County Activities.
