Dr. Wallace "Wally" Barr, Fairfield County, has been considered one of the nation's leading agriculture outlook specialists. As an Ohio State University Professor of Agricultural Economics, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to identify emerging agricultural policy issues before they become polarized. Through his economic analysis and his teaching abilities, he was able to Communicate forecast details which allowed for more informed production and marketing decisions. As professor emeritus, the Ohio State University, Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, he is continuing to be active in his profession.
