G. Edwin “Ed” Johnson

G. Edwin "Ed" Johnson, of Delaware, has been an avid supporter of agriculture for the past 40 years. He was the first to offer agriculture information and features through radio, television and print. In 1974, he founded ABN Radio Network, and today it serves audiences in 75 affiliates in Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia. The ABN Radio Network now has two other divisions, Agri Country, a half-hour weekly television show, and Ohio's Country Journal, a monthly farm magazine.

Johnson has served as host for the Ohio State Fair Sale of champions for 15 years, has been the official announcer for the National Tractor Pullers Association for 20 years and serves as a keynote speaker for many county, state and national events. He is a member of the OSU Alumni Board of Directors and a past chairman of the Ohio FFA Fund-Raising committee and the Ohio FFA Sponsors Board. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Celina Financial Corporation and the Delaware County Bank.
